We are looking for candidates for a position Analyst Accounting Operations.
Job responsibilities:- Compliance management primarily for APAC countries: to coordinate external Compliance services provider in compliance task related to VAT, CIT (corporate income tax) declarations, statutory financial statements and run filing with deadlines stipulated by local legislation, to follow up any queries raised by local country state institution (tax office, social/health funds,...) and manage following inspection if taking place, to monitor external services provider WEB portal disclosing all compliance tasks and update respectively.- Statutory Audit: to coordinate and exercise control over the statutory audits from preparation on the kick off session until closing session, including alignment on the PBC list and collecting all required responses, to participate on sample testing and supporting auditors in additional queries, follow up for any request pending on side of other departments, to update Audit status tracker and escalate any concern leading to potential delay.- Group audit: to support the head office consolidation team in assigned areas of responsibility, to collect all required responses and communicate to auditors, to participate on sample testing and supporting auditors in the additional queries, follow up for any request pending on side of other departments, to escalate to head office any concern leading to potential delay.- Reporting: for regional finance controller prepare the reporting pack focusing on explanation of main variances in YTD P&L movements year-to-year (current vs previous year) and current year balance sheet movements, additional reporting elements (e.g. equity movements, assets aging.. ), participate on quarterly call reviews.- Regional balance sheet analysis: as the part of the compliance tasks coordination (with local external services provider office) to reconcile completeness of local books and in cooperation with corporate accounting team to adjust local books to local books complete for any filing act.
Candidate Profile:- University Degree in Accounting or Finance- Min. 4+ years work experience with audit in Big four company- Experience with the local statutory audit process, including used techniques and standards- knowledge of ISA- experience with audit methodology and proceduresknowledge of IFRS,- completed ACCA certification or reasonably progressed- team player- understanding of the compliance tasks management- Proficient with MS Excel, Access, Word, Power Point - Good analytical capabilities- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines- Ability to communicate with internal and external partners- Proficiency in oral and written English; other languages are highly beneficial
Salary: CZK 50.000-60.000,-Employment contract for 1 year with a possibility to extend or to become permanent.
